The Minister of Education, Professor Ruqayatu Rufai, on Tuesday announced the cut-off marks for students who sat for the 2013 Joint Admission and Matriculation Board; JAMB examinations.
The Education boss, said the cut-off mark would be 180 for universities, and 150 for polytechnics and colleges of education. Professor Rufai made the announced at the end of a policy meeting with administrators of tertiary institutions in Abuja.
She noted that the reduction in the cut-off marks for polytechnics and colleges of education was aimed at encouraging students to seek admission into those educational institutions.
