GLO SLIDE AND BOUNCE CONCERT - A NIGHT INDEED

 Glo served its subscribers in Edo State a dish of sparkling entertainment at its Benin edition of the Glo Slide & Bounce Concert on Saturday, June 29.  Nigeria's star musicians, P-Square, with the Edo State Commissioner for Oil and Gas,Mr. Orobosa Omo-Ojo (left), Edo State Commissioner for Arts and Culture, Hon Anena Jemitola, and Globacom's Divisional Director, Midwest, Mr. Richard Ogunsina, (right) after the electrifying performance by Psquare at the show.The Glo Slide & Bounce musical tour, which kicked off in Abuja last week, is generating massive interest across the country. A large crowd of fun seekers trooped out in Benin City on Saturday to book a date with the concert train, which berthed at the Best Western Hotel in the city. Conceived by the telecommunication company to showcase it’s newly endorsed Ambassadors and adequately reward its teeming subscribers across the country, the show parades notable names in the nation’s music industry.  
Top government officials and students from higher institutions in Benin City and the adjourning towns of Ekpoma and Okada attended the Benin edition of the show. The crowd had a fun-filled night as P-square, Omawumi, Naeto C, Bez and others thrilled them with superlative performances. Performing live for the first time the Unlimited song, which was inspired by Globacom, and other hit tunes like Alingo, Oyinye and Chop My Money, P-square raised the roof with their well choreographed dance moves
  In his remarks at the show anchored by the comedian Okey Bakassi, who kept the crowd reeling in laughter with his ribs-cracking jokes, Globacom’s Divisional Director for Mid-West, Mr. Richard Ogunsina, informed that, “the show was a thank you package for our subscribers for their loyalty these past 10 years on one hand, and for the youths on the other hand, to show them through these emerging artistes that Globacom is ever ready to support our youths to achieve their dreams and become what they want to be.”  The Glo slide & Bounce Tour will also move to Ibadan, while Enugu, Port Harcourt, Calabar, Uyo and Lagos will have their turns later.
