LETS SAVE VINCENT
Vincent Chukwuka Nwokedi was born September 16 1989, he finished from Zion Foundation Primary School and afterwards attended University of Benin Demonstration Secondary School (UDSS), where
he finished with the 2006/2007 set. He is the first child and only son of his parent in a family of 5.
He is currently a 600 level (final year) student of Pharmacy (Pharm D). He was diagnosed of Acute Lymphocytic Leukamia (Blood Cancer) just a day after his first semester exams. Precisely on the 10th of April 2013. As a pharmacy student Vincent has headed several humanitarian programmes such as the Anti-Drug Misuse and Abuse Program, where a reachout was made to secondary schools and tertiary institutions to enlighten them on the harmful effects of drug abuse.
He is currently undergoing chemotherapy in the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH), awaiting to be flown to India where he would undergo a bone-marrow transplant surgery (a procedure that cannot be carried out in Nigeria) to cure his condition.
His consultant at the UBTH has projected the sum of ten million naira (N10 million) which will be required for this surgery
The family in conjunction with his classmates are putting this campaign together to help raise this money for him.
